Track Dogs

Track Dogs are two Irishmen, an Englishman and an American, (Garrett Wall, Dave Mooney, Howard Brown & Robbie K.Jones), whose artistic name derives from the dark subterranean world of New York’s subway system. If they are still new to you, check out recent releases Fire on The Rails (2020) and Where to Now? (2022) and see why they are so hard to pigeonhole.

Formed in the Autumn of 2006 in Madrid around the eclectic line-up of acoustic guitar, electric bass, trumpet and cajón, over the following 18 years they have added banjo, ukulele and mandolin as well as honing their four part vocal harmonies, now very much an integral part of their “sound”.

Well-established in Spain where they are based, they are surprising music lovers everywhere with “Sun-shiny songs thriving on dark themes behind irresistible rhythms.

A recent collaboration with Show of Hands led to the release of a 23-track live album, “Dog Show Sessions”, in 2023.

With 7 albums under their belts, their versatile and accessible style allows Track Dogs to be at home in festivals as diverse as Glastonbury, Americana Music Madrid, Electric Picnic (Ireland’s premiere mega-festival), Grand Northern Ukulele Festival, Shrewsbury Folk Festival, Folk Alliance International, SXSW, Cork Jazz Festival or even Trafalgar Square’s Saint Patrick’s Day Super Stage.

Badapple Theatre: CRUMBS

Badapple Theatre return once more with the long-awaited comedy, clowning and live baking sequel to their groundbreaking hit show The Daily Bread.

‘Crumbs’ follows the life and times of our heroine, an ex-TV baking show host who has recently been “let-go” from a high profile TV show under dubious circumstances.  Now trying to re-style herself within the fast-paced and cut-throat world of influencers and social media millionaires, we follow her hilarious slips and trips in her live baking show as she tries to keep the lights- and the oven- on in the face of almost certain doom…

This is a hilarious one-person show from the pen of Kate Bramley (York Theatre Royal/ Badapple Theatre) so expect much comedy AND baking for the audience to taste at the end.

The Dunwells

Alice Howe & Freebo

To hear Alice Howe sing is to be enraptured by the natural, unaffected beauty of her voice, “a marvelous instrument, strong and effortlessly musical, yet also capable of the sort of nuance that adds layers of meaning” (The Patriot Ledger). The Los Angeles-based, Boston-bred singer-songwriter-guitarist was named Best Female Artist at the 2023 International Acoustic Music Awards. On her second and latest album Circumstance, produced by her creative partner Freebo, the legendary rock bassist best known for his decade of touring and recording with Bonnie Raitt, and recorded at iconic FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Alice displays her vocal prowess and introspective writing in abundance, mining both her heart and her musical tastes for a deep, personal journey across an Americana soundscape dotted with blues, folk, country, soul and rock. The Songs & Stories Collective

The Songs & Stories Collective comprises three well-known acts from the UK country music scene – Donna Marie, Sarah Yeo and Tennessee Twin (Geoff & Victoria Meads).

The Collective was created during the long months of lockdown, when they would host a livestream every Sunday afternoon, playing a mixture of original songs and their own take on classic covers - and gaining a large following of loyal fans! 

Hailing from Devon, Cambridgeshire and Warrington, Donna, Sarah, Geoff and Victoria rarely get the chance to perform together live – so this is a special occasion!
